General characteristics. Structure:
Active agent: Ambazonum of monohydrate of 10 mg
Excipients: cocoa, sugar (sucrose), lactose monohydrate, arabic gum, поливидон K30, magnesium stearate, vanillin or fragrance lemon.
Pharmacological properties:
Possesses bacteriostatic action. Has local antimicrobic effect. It is active concerning a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (Streptococcus haemoliticus, Streptococcus viridans, Pneumococcus).
Indications to use:
Symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat.
Route of administration and doses:
Locally. Tablets should be rassasyvat before full dissolution (in 15-30 minutes after food). After use of tablets it is necessary to refrain within 3 hours from drink and meal.
Adult: on 4-5 tablets (0,04-0,05) a day.
To children: from 3 to 7 years 3 tablets (0,03 g) a day.
Course of treatment 3-4 days.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions, skin rash.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug.
