Amtersol

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: Kalii bromidum of-1 g, Natrium benzoicum – 1 g, chloride Ammonium – 1 g, Extract of a thermopsis liquid 1:2 – 0,2 g, Extract of a licorice root dense – 0,6 g, Alcohol of ethyl 90% - 10 g, Syrup sugar – 87 g.

Pharmacological properties:

Extract of a licorice root has the expectorant effect caused, first of all, by availability of the glycyrrhizin strengthening secretory function of mucous membranes of upper respiratory tracts.

Extract of a thermopsis possesses expectorant action, rendering moderate irritant action on receptors of a mucous membrane of a stomach, reflex increases secretion of bronchial glands. The alkaloids which are contained in a thermopsis grass (caulophyllin, Pachycarpinum, анагирин, thermodogs, термопсидин) have exciting effect on respiratory, and in high doses, on emetic the centers.

Kalii bromidum reduces excitability of TsNS.

Ammonium chloride has expectorant, diuretic effect.

Indications to use:

Respiratory diseases with difficulty of an otkhozhdeniye of a phlegm (bronchitis, tracheitis, etc.).

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is used inside, after food.
To children from 3 to 6 years: on 1/2 teaspoons of 3 times/days.
Children are from 6 to 12 years old: on 1 teaspoon of 3 times/days.
Teenagers are from 12 to 18 years old: on 1 dessertspoon of 3 times/days.
Adult: on 1 tablespoon of 3 times/days.

Average course of treatment - 10-14 days. Increase in duration and carrying out repeated courses of treatment is possible according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Features of use:

With care: liver diseases.
It is contraindicated during pregnancy and in the period of a lactation.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Amtersol it is not necessary to apply along with the drugs containing antibechic medicines as it complicates expectoration of the liquefied phlegm.

Contraindications:

— a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum in the period of an aggravation;
— pregnancy;
— lactation period;
— children's age up to 3 years;
— hypersensitivity to drug components.

With care: alcoholism, epilepsy, diseases of a liver, a disease and a brain injury (owing to availability of ethanol in drug), a diabetes mellitus (owing to the high content of sugar in drug).

Overdose:

At prolonged use in the doses exceeding recommended nausea, vomiting are possible.

Storage conditions:

In protected from light and the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 2 years.
