Poludanum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: Poliriboadenilovy acid potassium salt (potassium полирибоаденилат) 0,1 mg, poliribouridilovy acid potassium salt (potassium полирибоуридилат) 0,107 mg; Excipients: hydrophosphate sodium (sodium of phosphate 2-replaced) of 2,0 mg, dihydrophosphate potassium (potassium of the phosphate 1-replaced anhydrous) of 0,408 mg, sodium of chloride of 8,5 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

Poludanum — a biosynthetic poliribonukleotidny complex of poliriboadenilovy and poliribouridilovy acids. Inductor of synthesis of endogenous interferon and other cytokines. Stimulates formation generally of alpha interferon, to a lesser extent beta and gamma interferon. Induces synthesis of interferon in leukocytes of peripheral blood, and also in the fabrics and bodies containing lymphoid elements. High level of interferon is supported by daily introductions throughout all course. Possesses direct anti-virus action concerning influenza viruses and other acute respiratory viral infections. Modulates the tsitokinovy answer at infection of cells with a virus.

Indications to use:

Appoint to adults and children at viral diseases of eyes: adenoviral and herpetic keratoconjunctivites, keratitis and keratoiridotsiklita (keratouveita), stromal keratitis, iridocyclites, chorioretinites, optic neuritis. Treatment of flu and other acute respiratory viral infections

Route of administration and doses:

Locally. Drug is used at adults for treatment of flu and other SARS in the form of drops in a nose. To dig in 2 drops in each nostril of 5 times a day within 5 days during the acute period of a disease — no later than 24–48 hours from the moment of emergence of the first symptoms. Solution of Poludanum is prepared by dissolution of contents of a bottle (100ED) by boiled water to the tag specified on the label.

Features of use:

By-effects have tranzitorny character and disappear after drug withdrawal in 1–3 days.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are seldom possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of Poludanum with fermental drugs in connection with the destroying effect of enzymes on endogenous interferon, clinical performance of Poludanum decreases. Let's combine with antibiotics and medicines for treatment of viral infections.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity - 4 years. Not to use after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging. In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not higher than +4 Pages.

Lyophilisate for preparation of nasal drops of 100 PIECES in   bottles of 5 ml. On 1 and 3 bottles complete with 1 or 3 covers droppers and  the application instruction in packs from a cardboard.
