General characteristics. Structure:

Liquid paraffin – 30 g

Pharmacological properties:

Purgative. The mechanism of action is caused by a softening and improvement of sliding of fecal masses. Practically it is not soaked up after intake, increases the volume of intestinal contents, stimulates bowel emptying.

Indications to use:

Appoint at chronic locks.

Route of administration and doses:

 The adult inside on 1-2 tablespoons of oil a day in intervals between meals.

Features of use:

It is impossible to apply at poisoning with phosphorus and organophosphorous
connections. It is necessary to consider that at intake the liquid paraffin can pass through a proctal sphincter and contaminate linen. It is recommended to use laying.

Side effects:

Prolonged use can cause digestion process disturbances, nausea, anorexia.

Contraindications:

Round ulcer of a stomach and 12-perstny gut, acute inflammatory and destructive diseases of abdominal organs, pregnancy period, hemorrhoids.
