Энтеродез®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: polyvinylpirrolidone low-molecular medical 12600±2700 (povidone) - 5 g;
Description: White or slightly yellowish powder with a slight specific smell.
It is hygroscopic. The solution prepared according to the application instruction (contents of a package are dissolved in 100 ml of water), represents transparent or weak and opalescent colourless or slightly yellowish liquid.

Pharmacological properties:

Энтеродез® connects the toxins coming to digestive tract and which are formed in an organism and removes them through intestines.
 
Pharmacokinetics. Ne it is soaked up, not metabolized, removed through digestive tract.

Indications to use:

As means of desintoxication at toxic forms of acute infectious gastrointestinal diseases (dysentery, salmonellosises, food toxicoinfections), at a liver and renal failure.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, 1-2 hours later after meal or medicines. Drug is dissolved at the rate of 2,5 g of powder on 50 ml of cold boiled water. For improvement of tastes sugar or fruit juice can be added to solution.
 
The adult on 100 ml of the prepared solution 1-3 times a day within 2-7 days (before disappearance of symptoms of intoxication).
 
To children of 1 year at the rate of 0,3 g on kg of mass of the child a day.
 
Daily reception for children:
 
from 1 to 3 years - 50 ml of solution 2 times;
 
from 4 to 6 years - 50 ml of solution 3 times;
 
from 7 to 10 years - 100 ml of solution 2 times;
 
from 11 to 14 years - 100 ml of solution 3 times.

Features of use:

The prepared solution has to be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 4 °C no more than three days.

Side effects:

Quickly passing nausea and vomiting (are not the basis for drug withdrawal). Development of allergic reactions is not excluded.

Interaction with other medicines:

Use of Enterodeza® together with other medicines appointed inside can sharply slow down speed and/or reduce extent of their absorption from digestive tract.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug.

Overdose:

In cases of overdose side effects of drug amplify.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature from minus 10 to + 30 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
