Asparkam

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: one tablet contains potassium of asparaginate 0,175g and magnesium of asparaginate 0,175g (according to a potassium ion 36,2mg and a magnesium 11,8mg ion).

Pharmacological properties:

Potassium ions play an essential role in regulation of functions of an organism. Potassium participates in process of carrying out nervous impulses and their transfers on the innervated bodies. Potassium is necessary also for implementation of reductions of skeletal muscles. Introduction to an organism of potassium is followed by increase in maintenance of acetylcholine and excitement of a sympathetic part of the nervous system.

Asparaginate is a carrier of potassium ions and magnesium and promotes their penetration into intracellular space. Coming to cells, asparaginate joins in metabolism processes.

Ions of magnesium promote therapeutic effect of all drug.

Indications to use:

The heart arrhythmias caused, mainly, by electrolytic disturbances, and also intoxication foxglove drugs, atrial fibrillation paroxysms, coronary insufficiency, the hypopotassemia caused by use of diuretics, ventricular premature ventricular contraction.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside. After food. The adult on 1-2 tablets 3 times a day within 3-4 weeks.

Features of use:

At disturbances of a rhythm in combination with AV blockade does not recommend to appoint drug. Combined use of the Asparkam and kaliysberegayushchy diuretics increases risk of development of a hyperpotassemia.

Side effects:

Nausea is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

The asparkam lowers sensitivity to cardiac glycosides.

Contraindications:

Disturbances of a rhythm in combination with an atrioventricular block, acute and chronic insufficiency of kidneys, a hyperpotassemia.

Storage conditions:

In the dry place at the room temperature. Period of validity 3 years.
