General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 98,25 g extract of a plantain of big, 0,79 g of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

Excipients: potassium sorbate, granulated sugar.

The means having expectorant, antiinflammatory and mucolytic effect.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Medicine has expectorant, antiinflammatory and mucolytic effect. The antiinflammatory effect is connected with existence in composition of syrup of polysaccharides (pectins), tannins, the benzoic and salicylic acids. Indications to use:

Medicine is applied at inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tracts which are followed by cough with the hardly separated phlegm (as a part of complex therapy).

Route of administration and doses:

- Inside, to children  12 years on 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3-4 times a day are more senior,
- The adult on 1 tablespoon (15 ml) 3-4 times a day.

Duration of reception of medicine is defined by the doctor.

Features of use:

To apply with care at deficit glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy. It is not recommended to apply along with other medicines containing ascorbic acid; it is not necessary to apply to patients with the increased content of iron in an organism.

Side effects:

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the places unavailable to children. To use within 10 days after opening of bottles. Period of validity of 18 months. Not to use after the term specified on packaging.
