TINCTURA EUCALYPTI

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: a leaf of an eucalyptus - 200 g, alcohol of ethyl 70% before receiving 1 l of tincture. Description. Transparent liquid of greenish-brown color, peculiar smell.

Pharmacological properties:

Renders antiseptic, antiinflammatory local and sedative action.

Indications to use:

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of a throat and upper respiratory tracts (pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis), sometimes as calmative.

Route of administration and doses:

Inhalations and rinsing – 10-15 drops of tincture part in 200 ml of water 3-4 times a day. Inside, till 15-30 drops in days.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity. For inhalations – bronchial asthma, whooping cough.

Storage conditions:

To store in the place protected from light at a temperature not above 30 degrees Celsius. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity of 5 years. Not to use after expiry date.
