Kardivitol

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 20 mg of trans-resveratrol.

Excipients: lactose, povidone, magnesium stearate, cellulose microcrystallic.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Kardivitol's action is caused by effect of the trans-resveratrol which is its part. Trans-resveratrol is a powerful natural antioxidant. It contains in a peel of red grapes, the mountaineer Japanese, a pine and in 72 species of other plants. Trans-resveratrol belongs to a class of the polyphenolic connections called by stilbena. It surpasses vitamin A in the antioxidant activity, beta коротин by 4-5 times, vitamin C by 20 times, vitamin E by 50 times.

The mechanism of antioxidant effect of trans-resveratrol consists in its interaction with coenzyme Q and removal of superoxidic anions from mitochondrions. Trans-resveratrol suppresses growth of prelipoblasts, protects lipoproteins of low density from oxidation, stimulates a cholesterol exit from a cell and, thereby, interferes with development of obesity. It promotes increase in sensitivity of fabrics to insulin, decrease in level of glucose in blood and to maintenance of a normal functional condition of heart and liver. This antioxidant stimulates products of nitrogen oxide (NO), permeability of K+ / Sa2 + channels for Sa2 + in endothelial cells, providing fuller relaxation of blood vessels. Trans-resveratrol has important property to block development of molecules mediators cells of an epithelium of the respiratory tracts capable to change permeability of membranes.

Trans-resveratrol competes with oestradiol for the place of binding on a receptor that reduces the stimulating influence of oestradiol on cells of hormonedependent tumors. It promotes regeneration and recovery of nervous cells, including in the damaged sites of a brain, and, thus, helps to recover powers of thinking. Trans-resveratrol maintains smoothness and elasticity of skin, affecting ukreplyayushche collagenic fibers of connecting fabric, increases mobility of joints that allows to keep good coordination of movements in old age.

To similarly low-calorie diet, trans-resveratrol activates "a longevity gene" сиртуин and is the only means approved by administration of the USA on control of medicines and foodstuff which interferes with a senilism of an organism and promotes active longevity.
