Becarbonum

General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: tablets of yellowish-brown color with impregnations; structure: one tablet contains extract of a belladonna of dense 0,01 g;
Natrii hydrocarbonas of 0,3 g; excipients: starch, talc.

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug. Treats group of the anticholinergics operating on peripheral mediator processes. Has spasmolytic, cholinolytic and antiacid effects, combining spasmolytic effect of alkaloids of a belladonna with antiacid properties of Natrii hydrocarbonas.

Indications to use:

Becarbonum is appointed at the hyperoxemia of a gastric juice including caused by development of hyperacid gastritises at enterospasms and dyspepsia.

Route of administration and doses:

Adults accept inside in 30-40 min. prior to food on 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The highest single dose makes 5 tablets, the highest daily dose of 15 tablets. Duration of reception is defined by the doctor depending on the nature of pathological process and the reached effect.

Features of use:

With care apply at patients with polyneuropathy, a hyperthyroidism, an ischemic heart disease, chronic heart failure, an idiopathic hypertensia, diseases of kidneys, a reflux esophagitis.
Prolonged use at a zhelchekamenny disease and a nephrolithiasis is not recommended.
Use during pregnancy is possible only in that case when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit.
Use for patients whose activity is connected with need of high concentration of attention, bystry mental and motor reactions is not recommended.

Side effects:

Dryness in a mouth, loss of taste and appetite, drowsiness, dizziness, tachycardia, accommodation disturbance, excitement, expansion of pupils. 

Interaction with other medicines:

The belladonna which is a part of drug reduces or eliminates action of m cholinolytics, antikholinesterazny drugs. Exponentiates aritmogenny effect of MAO inhibitors, cardiac glycosides, clonidine, cholinolytic properties of quinidine, a novokainamid, effects of barbiturates, antihistaminic drugs, tranquilizers.

Contraindications:

Reception of the tablets "Becarbonum" is contraindicated at glaucoma and suspicion of glaucoma, at prostate adenoma; the stenosing diseases of a digestive tract, an intestines atony, atonic locks, sharply expressed atherosclerosis, a decompensation of cordial activity, a tachyarrhythmia; myasthenias; in the period of a lactation; at hypersensitivity to belladonna drugs.

Overdose:

At overdose it is necessary to expect strengthening of the described side effects. Nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, a tachyarrhythmia, myocardium ischemia, an idiosyncrasy, a small tortoiseshell, decrease in sweating, a hyperthermia are possible; impotence; suppression of a lactation.

Storage conditions:

Store in dry, cool, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children.

Period of validity - 3 years.
