GEPATOIMUN (Immunoglbulin of the person against a hepatitis virus In the person)

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: specific antibodies IgG to HBsAg is preferential.
 
stabilizer: glycine (glycine, the aminoacetic acid).
 
main properties: drug is protein fraction of serum or a blood plasma of donors, immunizirovanny against hepatitis B, cleared and concentrated  by a fractionation method alcohol, with the high content of antibodies to anti-HVS. Protein content in 1,0 ml of drug from 0,095 g to 0,105 g or from 0,152 g to 0,168 g. Transparent or with insignificant opalescence, colourless or yellowish liquid. At storage emergence of the insignificant deposit disappearing when stirring is allowed. Drug  does not contain preservative and antibiotics, in it there are no antibodies to VICh-1, VICh-2, to a virus of hepatitis C and a surface antigen of a virus of hepatitis B.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug has the specific specificity inherent only in blood proteins of the person and contains antibodies to HBsAg not less than 50 ME/ml.

Indications to use:

Emergency prevention of hepatitis B: after contact with the infected material (blood, plasma, serum), at wound medical tools. At hit of infectious material on mucous membranes (in a mouth, eyes, etc.).
 
The emergency prevention at the adults and children belonging to groups of high risk of infection with the virus of hepatitis B (contact in the hepatitis B centers, before operations, hemotransfusions, a hemodialysis, etc.) which is not imparted against hepatitis B.

Route of administration and doses:

Gepatoimun enter intramusculary into an upper outside quadrant of a gluteus or into the outside surface of a hip.
 
After inoculation of material, suspicious on the maintenance of a virus of hepatitis B, enter 6-10 ME drugs on 1 kg of body weight as soon as possible after contact (within 24-48 hours).
 
To adults and children 10 years the hepatitis B virus relating to the groups of high risk of infection (contact in the hepatitis B centers, before operations, a hemotransfusion, a hemodialysis, etc.) which are not imparted against hepatitis B are more senior, administer the drug at the rate of 6-8 ME on 1 kg of body weight. To children up to 10 years the drug is administered in a dose 100 ME.

Features of use:

It is forbidden to administer the drug intravenously! After the termination of a period of validity use of drug is inadmissible.

Side effects:

Reactions to administration of immunoglobulin , as a rule, are absent. In rare instances there can be local reactions in the form of a hyperemia and fervescence to 37,5 ° C within the first days. Drug with the changed reactivity can cause reactions of an allergy of different type in certain people, and in exclusively exceptional cases - an acute anaphylaxis. In this regard persons who received drug have to be under medical observation within 30 minutes.

Contraindications:

Administration of immunoglobulin is contraindicated to the persons having heavy allergic reactions to introduction of proteinaceous blood preparations of the person in the anamnesis.   And in the next 3 days antihistaminic drugs are recommended to the patients having allergic diseases or having them in the anamnesis in day of administration of immunoglobulin. To the persons suffering from immune general diseases (diseases of blood, connecting fabric, nephrite, etc.), it is necessary to enter immunoglobulin against the background of the corresponding therapy. To the persons which are carriers of a surface antigen of hepatitis B, it is not necessary to administer the drug as at these persons protective action of drug is not shown.

Storage conditions:
