General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: 20 ml of bacteriophages of the salmonellezny A, B, C, D, E groups in 1 bottle.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. Drug causes a specific lysis of salmonellas of the serotypes stated above.
Indications to use:
— the diseases or a bacteriocarrier caused by salmonellas of the serotypes stated above.
Important condition of an effective phagotherapy is preliminary definition of a phagosensitivity and early use of drug.
Route of administration and doses:
Drug is intended for internal use. For treatment the bacteriophage is accepted by 3 times a day through a mouth in 1 hour prior to meal from the first day of a disease within 7-10 days. At the disease which is characterized by a slight kolitichesky syndrome and in the period of reconvalescence along with oral administration it is recommended to administer the drug rektalno, in the form of enemas, instead of 1 reception through a mouth.
The recommended drug dosages:
In the preventive purposes drug is recommended to be used for the prevention of a bacteriocarrier, an intrahospital infection, during group diseases in organized collectives and families. Optimum schemes of use - daily reception of a single dose depending on age. Duration of administration of drug is defined by epidemiological situation conditions.
Features of use:
Use for children. Use for children according to indications is possible.
Special instructions. Before the use the bottle with a liquid bacteriophage needs to be shaken up. At opacification not to use!
Influence on ability to driving of motor transport and to control of mechanisms. Use of drug does not influence ability to manage vehicles, mechanisms.
