Bisogamma

Bisogamma – the drug from group of the selection beta adrenoblockers used for treatment of arterial hypertension.

Form of release and structure

Medicine is produced in the form of tablets, film coated (on 10 pieces in blisters, on 3 or 5 blisters in a cardboard pack).

The main active ingredient of Bisogamma – бисопролол гемифумарат, in 1 tablet – 5 or 10 mg.

Excipients: prezhelatinizirovanny starch, кросповидон, microcrystallic cellulose, silicon dioxide colloid, macrogoal, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, talc, gipromelloza, dye ferrous oxide yellow.

Indications to use

Bisogamma has the following indications to use:

• Arterial hypertension;
• Coronary heart disease (for prevention of attacks of stenocardia).

Contraindications

Bisogamma's use is contraindicated at a fluid lungs, a collapse, acute and chronic heart failure (in a decompensation stage), an atrioventricular block 2-3 degrees, bradycardia, a cardiomegaly, shock, severe forms of bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, a pheochromocytoma, a depression, a Raynaud's disease.

Besides, Bisogamma should not be accepted to persons under 18 and patients with hypersensitivity to components of drug and to other beta-blockers.

Medicine should be applied with care at a chronic renal failure, a liver failure, a thyrotoxicosis, a diabetes mellitus, psoriasis.

Administration of drug is possible during pregnancy if the potential advantage of treatment is higher, than risk of development of side effects in a fruit.

Route of administration and dosage

Bisogamma is accepted once in the morning on an empty stomach. Begin reception with a dosage of 5 mg which can be in case of need increased to 10 mg. The maximum daily dose – 20 mg, for patients with an impaired renal function (or a liver) – 10 mg.

Side effects

Bisogamma's use can cause the following by-effects:

• From a nervous system: weakness, increased fatigue, dizziness, frustration of a dream, depression, tremor, spasms;
• From cardiovascular system: bradycardia, AV blockade, aggravation of chronic heart failure, orthostatic hypotension, peripheral vasomotor spasm (cold snap of extremities, Reynaud's syndrome);
• From digestive tract: dryness mucous, nausea, disturbance of a chair, taste change;
• From respiratory system: breath difficulty (at use of high doses of drug), a bronchospasm (at the patients predisposed to it), a nose congestion;
• From sense bodys: vision disorder, morbidity and xerophthalmus, conjunctivitis;
• From laboratory indicators: perhaps – decrease in quantity of thrombocytes in peripheral blood, an agranulocytosis, a leukopenia (decrease in quantity of leukocytes in blood), increase in activity of liver enzymes (ALT, nuclear heating plant).

Besides, allergic reactions in the form of a small tortoiseshell, rash, a skin itch are possible.

Special instructions

In case of purpose of this drug it is necessary to exercise control of arterial pressure and the heart rate (HR) (at the beginning of therapy – every day, then 1 time in 3 months). At ChSS less than 50 beats per minute it is necessary to see a doctor immediately. Control of an ECG is also necessary, and patients with a diabetes mellitus should watch sugar level in blood.

At smokers Bisogamma's efficiency is lower.

At diseases of lungs before administration of drug the research of function of external respiration is recommended.

Bisogamma changes efficiency of an insulin therapy and peroral hypoglycemic drugs and can disguise hypoglycemia symptoms.

Hypotensive effect of this medicine is reduced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, glucocorticoids and estrogen.

Bisogamma's use in a complex with cardiac glycosides, blockers of calcium channels and antiarrhytmic drugs increases risk of development of bradycardia, AV blockade.

Bisogamma should not be accepted together with MAO inhibitors.

The concomitant use of drug with antidepressants and antipsychotic medicines can strengthen oppression of the central nervous system.

Analogs

The drugs Concor, Bisokard, Koronal, Biprol, Aritel, Kordinorm, Bidop, Biol belong to structural analogs of Bisogamma.

Conditions and periods of storage

To store no more than 3 years at air temperature not above 25 °C.
