Doctor MOM
Application instruction:
Doctor MOM – phytodrug with broncholitic, expectorant and mucolytic action.
Form of release and structure
Doctor MOM release in the form of syrup: with a smell of pineapple, dark green color (in green bottles from polyethyleneterephthalate on 100 ml, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack complete with a measured glass).
Active agents are a part of 100 ml of syrup (in the form of dry extracts):
- Adhatoda vasika (roots, leaves, bark and flowers of an adatoda of a vasika) – 0,6 g;
- Aloe barbadensis (leaves, juice and pulp of an aloe Barbados) – 0,5 g;
- Ocinum sanctum (leaves, seeds and roots of a basil sacred) – 1 g;
- Inula racemosa (roots of an inula kistetsvetny) – 0,2 g;
- Zingiber officinale (rhizomes of ginger medicinal) – 0,1 g;
- Curcuma longa (rhizomes of a turmeric long) – 0,5 g;
- Solanum indicum (roots, fruits and seeds of a nightshade Indian) – 0,2 g;
- Piper cubeba (cubeb pepper fruits) – 0,1 g;
- Glycyrrhiza glabra (roots of a glycyrrhiza naked) – 0,6 g;
- Terminalia belerica (fruits of a bombway of a belerika) – 0,2 g;
- Left menthol – 0,06 g.
Auxiliary components: sucrose, sorbic acid, глицерол, methylparahydroxysodium benzoate, monohydrate of citric acid, sodium benzoate, пропилпарагидроксибензоат sodium, pineapple fragrance, Supr BQ dye (dyes: diamond blue and quinolinic yellow), the purified water.
Indications to use
Doctor MOM appoint for a symptomatic treatment of chronic and acute respiratory diseases which are followed by cough with difficult separated phlegm or dry cough, including bronchitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis, laryngitis (including "lecturing").
Contraindications
- Age up to 3 years;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Reception of Doctor MOM by the feeding and pregnant women is not recommended (due to the lack of sufficient clinical data about efficiency and safety of use of drug for this group of patients).
Route of administration and dosage
Doctor MOM accept inside.
Depending on age drug is appointed in the following single doses:
- Children of 3-5 years – 2,5 ml;
- Children of 6-14 years – 2,5-5 ml;
- Children of 14 years and adult – 5-10 ml.
Frequency rate of reception of Doctor MOM – 3 times a day. 1 teaspoon contains 5 ml of syrup.
Duration of a therapeutic course – 14-21 days.
According to the recommendation of the doctor increase in duration of administration of drug and carrying out repeated courses is possible.
Side effects
During reception of Doctor MOM allergic reactions can develop.
Special instructions
Sugar is a part of Doctor MOM that needs to be considered at a diabetes mellitus, and also to the patients keeping to a hypocaloric diet.
One adult single dose contains 3,75-7,5 g of sucrose that corresponds to 0,31-0,62 grain units (GU).
Medicinal interaction
Simultaneous use of Doctor MOM with antibechic medicines is not recommended (because of possible disturbance of an otkhozhdeniye of the phlegm liquefied by administration of drug).

To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature up to 30 °C.
