Fezam
Application instruction:
Fezam treats group of nootropic drugs which improve cerebral circulation, possess vasodilating and anti-hypoxemic action.
Fezam 
was widely used as effective drug for treatment of diseases of a brain, migraine and asthenic states.
Structure and form of release of Fezam
The main active ingredients – piracetam of 400 mg and cinnarizine of 25 mg.
Auxiliary components: silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, lactose, gelatin.
Fezam is issued in capsules in cardboard packaging on 20-60 pieces.
Pharmacological action
Fezam is the drug stimulating cerebral circulation which improves functions of visual and acoustic analyzers.
Piracetam promotes strengthening of power processes, normalizes synthesis of protein and utilization of glucose. Cinnarizine effectively blocks calcium in cells and increases resistance of walls of vessels of a brain to a hypoxia.
Fezam has good responses as drug with the expressed therapeutic effect of the combined action directed to improvement of functioning of a brain.
Active components of drug normalize process of neyronalny transfer in the central nervous system and have antihistaminic effect.
Fezam reduces excitability and instability of a vestibular mechanism, increases elasticity of membranes of erythrocytes and reduces viscosity of blood.
Drug reaches the maximum concentration in blood within 3-5 hours, and bioavailability makes 98%. Fezam within 27-32 hours is brought from an organism by kidneys.
Indications to Fezam's use
Fezam to use at the following diseases and disturbances of functioning of a brain is shown:
- atherosclerosis of vessels of a brain;
- stroke;
- blood circulation disturbances;
- migraine of various etiology;
- encephalopathy of various types;
- Menyer's disease;
- arterial hypertension;
- vision disorders;
- adynamy.
Fezam's testimonies to use are disturbances of brain activity, memory and mental capacity at children.
Fezam received positive reviews as the effective drug which is a part of the complex therapy intended for relative deafness treatment.
Application instruction
According to the instruction Fezam 
adults should accept 2 capsules 2-3 times a day, and to children – on 1 capsule 2 times a day. The exact dosage of drug has to be determined by the attending physician by testimonies of the patient.
The course of treatment makes 2-3 months. If necessary the course of treatment can be repeated after an interval in several months.
According to the instruction Fezam children cannot appoint up to 5 years and to patients with brain tumors.
The concomitant use of Fezam and the drugs increasing arterial pressure reduces the cumulative therapeutic effect. During treatment by drug it is not necessary to accept the alcohol, antidepressants and medicines oppressing a nervous system.
Contraindications
Contraindications to Fezam's reception are hypersensitivity and intolerance of components of drug, a renal and liver failure, Parkinson's disease, brain tumors, pregnancy and the period of a lactation, children's age up to 5 years.
With care drug is appointed at a serious illness of bodies of a GIT and at advanced age.
Side effects of Fezam
Fezam can cause the following side effects:
- headache and dizziness;
- vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia;
- lacks of coordination, block and decrease in psychomotor reactions;
- allergic reactions – urticaria, an itch, a Quincke's edema, a bronchospasm, eczema, skin rash.
