Ginoflor E
Application instruction:
Ginoflor E – the oestrogenic drug used for normalization of microflora of a vagina.
Form of release and structure
Ginoflor E release in the form of tablets vaginal: oval, biconvex, from light-beige till white color with impregnations (on 6 pieces in blister strip packagings, on 1 or 2 packagings in a cardboard pack).
Active agents are a part of 1 tablet:
- Lactobacilli acidophilic (lyophilisate with contents is not less than 100 million viable bacteria) – 50 mg;
- Estriol – 0,03 mg.
Auxiliary components: microcrystallic cellulose, monohydrate of lactose, sodium carboxymethylstarch, magnesium stearate, dihydrosodium phosphate.
Indications to use
- Recovery of flora of Lactobacillus acidophilus after system and/or topical treatment by antibiotic drugs or other chemotherapeutic medicines;
- Bacterial vaginosis;
- Estrogenzavisimy atrophic vaginita in a postmenopause, including use in combination with the replacement hormonal therapy (RHT).
Contraindications
- Not treated hyperplasia of an endometria;
- Malignant estrogenzavisimy new growths, including new growths of a vagina, uterus and mammary glands (in the anamnesis, diagnosed or in the presence of suspicions on them);
- Bleedings from a vagina of not clear etiology;
- The endometriosis (diagnosed or suspected);
- Use for girls prior to the beginning of sex life;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Ginoflor's use E in the first trimester of pregnancy is undesirable that is connected with lack of clinical data on influence of estriol on a fruit.
Route of administration and dosage
Ginoflor E it is necessary to enter in the evening before going to bed into a vagina deeply, better – in a dorsal decubitus with the legs which are slightly bent in knees.
After system and/or local therapy antibiotic drugs or other chemotherapeutic medicines for recovery of flora of Lactobacillus acidophilus, and also at treatment of a bacterial vaginosis usually appoint 1-2 vaginal tablets a day. Drug is used for 6-12 days daily.
At treatment of estrogenzavisimy atrophic vaginit in the period of a postmenopause Ginoflor E apply within 6-12 days on 1 vaginal tablet daily. Further drug is appointed by 1-2 times a week on 1 vaginal tablet.
Side effects
During therapy emergence of burning sensation (heat) in a vagina is possible, it is rare – an itch and reddening of a vagina and vulva.
Special instructions
Components which can not be dissolved completely are Ginoflor's part E, sometimes on underwear it is possible to find the remains of a vaginal tablet. It does not exert impact on efficiency of drug.
In some cases, at dryness of a vagina, the tablet can not be dissolved. That to avoid it, before introduction it can be humidified with a small amount of water that will promote its more bystry dissolution. During therapy it is recommended to use laying.
Medicinal interaction
Lactobacillus acidophilus show sensitivity to many antibacterial medicines (system or topical administration). Simultaneous use with such drugs can reduce Ginoflor E. efficiency.
Terms and storage conditions
To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature of 2-8 °C (not to freeze).
