Glyvenolum

Glyvenolum – venotoniziruyushchy means.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form – capsules: soft gelatinous, oblong shape, transparent, orange color, on the one hand white paint put a text of "FU", with another – "Ciba"; contents – oily liquid from colourless till yellowish color (on 10 pieces in blisters, 2, 4 or 10 blisters in a cardboard pack).

Active ingredient: Tribenozidum, in 1 capsule – 400 mg.

Additional components: ethylparaben sodium, canthaxanthin of 10%, gelatin, sodium propylparaben, glycerin of 85%, absolute ethanol.

Indications to use

  • The varicosity which is followed edematous and painful by syndromes;
  • The disturbances of venous blood circulation which are shown feeling of weight, fatigue and tension in legs and also puffiness and pain in legs after long standing / sitting;
  • Hemorrhoids;
  • Phlebitis, periphlebitis, posttrombotichesky syndrome, the period before performing sclerosing therapy (as supportive application).

Contraindications

The main contraindication to use of Glyvenolum – individual hypersensitivity to its components.

Drug should be used with care during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. Whether Tribenozidum gets into breast milk, it is unknown therefore in the period of a lactation it is not recommended to appoint Glyvenolum.

Route of administration and dosage

Medicine should be accepted inside, during food or right after meal.

The standard single dose makes 1 capsule, frequency rate of reception – 2 times a day.

It is necessary to accept drug within several weeks (on doctor's orders), even in case of bystry regression of symptoms of a disease.

The course of treatment is recommended to be repeated periodically, in particular to patients whose work is connected with long load of legs, especially in warm season.

Side effects

  • Alimentary system: gastrointestinal frustration (usually frivolous and independently pass after drug withdrawal);
  • Allergic reactions: rash, anaphylaxis, including urticaria, disturbance of blood circulation and breath, Quincke's disease.

Special instructions

It is not necessary to exceed the recommended dose since increase in therapeutic effect is not noted.

Tribenozidum is derivative sugar, however does not influence carbohydrate metabolism, even at patients with a diabetes mellitus.

Medicinal interaction

Information on interaction of Glyvenolum with other medicines is absent.

Terms and storage conditions

To store at a temperature up to 30 ºС in the dry place unavailable to children.

Period of validity – 5 years.
