Muscle tension

Description:

Muscular rigidity is the functional condition of skeletal muscles which is characterized by sharp increase in their tone and resilience to the deforming efforts.

Muscle tension symptoms:

At the person at damages and disturbances of activity of the central nervous system and pathological irritation of peripheral nerves various manifestations of muscle tension can be observed. So, at poisoning with some poisons, diseases of a nervous system, and also under the influence of hypnosis there is a condition of a plastic tone which is characterized by the fact that muscles become wax-like; at the same time it is easy for extremities to give any situation which they is long hold without change. Emergence of a plastic tone of muscles is characteristic of a special condition of a nervous system, is called a katalepsy,  or wax rigidity.

Muscle tension reasons:

Muscle tension results from changes in the nature of the nervous influences which are constantly experienced from the central and peripheral nervous system.  The cerebrate rigidity can be an example of rigidity.

Treatment of a basic disease against the background of which there was muscle tension is carried out.
