Stanioz

Description:

Stanioz — the metalconiosis developing at the working olovoplavilny plants. The disease differs in scarcity of clinical manifestations, seldom is complicated by tubercular process and, as a rule, does not lead to essential disturbance of working capacity.

Stanioz's symptoms:

The X-ray pattern of a stanioz consists of symptoms of unsharply expressed intersticial fibrosis and widespread small formations of rounded shape (with a diameter up to 2 mm) with accurate contours serving as manifestation of adjournment in easy for X-ray contrast dust of tin.

At this type of a pneumoconiosis disease involution thanks to removal of dust parts of tin with a phlegm is possible.

Stanioz's reasons:

Harmful action of some types of inorganic dust generally consists in restriction of visibility and irritation mucous, first of all an eye, a nose and a throat. At hit in the lower respiratory tracts this dust does not injure terminal bronchioles and an acinus. X-ray contrast pyly it is possible to give dust  of tin oxide which is used in metallurgy, as an example production of typographical  paints, textile dyes,  glass and  porcelain and causes станиоз.

Stanioz's treatment:

Treatment-and-prophylactic actions provide the rational organization of the mode and rest, good nutrition with the sufficient content of proteins and vitamins, sports and respiratory gymnastics, various tempering hydrotherapeutic procedures, refusal of smoking. Quite widely various adaptogens having the all-stimulating properties and increasing nonspecific reactivity of an organism can be used (tinctures of an eleuterokokk. the Chinese magnolia vine, Pantocrinum in the standard doses courses for 3 — 4 weeks), and also vitamins (B1, C, P, niacin).

Without the expressed pulmonary insufficiency it is reasonable to patient to appoint an ionophoresis with novocaine, Calcium chloratum, the diadynamic currents or ultrasound on a thorax stimulating lympho-and blood circulation, and also improving ventilating function of lungs. In the presence of bronchitis use of the means expectorating and liquefying a phlegm (a thermopsis, drugs of iodine, a marsh-mallow root, etc.), and in the presence of bronchospasm signs — and broncholitic drugs is shown. Drugs of a purine row are especially effective at the same time (an Euphyllinum, etc.). In the presence of a viscous phlegm it is possible to apply also inhalations of proteolytic enzymes (trypsin, a lidaza, fibrinolysin, etc.).
