General characteristics. Structure:
Active agent: beta alanine of 400 mg.
Beta alanine — pure amino acid which chemical structure completely differs from structure of hormone. Interferes with sharp release of a histamine. However drug does not show antihistaminic activity (lack of blocking of H1 receptors).
Beta alanine exerts a direct impact only on a skin peripheral vazodilatation that predetermines vegetative inflows, a caumesthesia, a heat, a headache.
At the physiological level vasculomotor inflows are caused by involvement of the thermoregulatory centers in a hypothalamus that leads to a peripheral skin vazodilatation. It is result of operation of the mechanism which becomes more active at disturbance of the balance of cerebral neurotransmitters arising later the terminations of secretion of hormones ovaries. Drug promotes saturation of peripheral receptors of the neurotransmitters which are taking part in process.
Indications to use:
Treatment at the inflows connected with a menopause.
Route of administration and doses:
Take 1–2 pill a day (before the main meal). This dose can be raised to 3 tablets a day. The minimum course of treatment — 5–10 days (before the termination of inflows).
When resuming inflows treatment can be performed throughout the entire period of clinical vasculomotor frustration, without restriction of time of use.
Features of use:
Drug is recommended to be used during the premenopausal, menopausal period of a different etiology, and also during the post-menopausal period, before carrying out replaceable hormonal therapy and in a combination with it. Unlike other drugs, beta alanine does not lead to a water delay in an organism and to increase in body weight. Accustoming signs to drug are not revealed. Has no sedative effect.
Use during pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is not used during pregnancy and feeding by a breast.
Children. Drug is not used at children.
Ability to influence speed of response at control of vehicles or work with mechanisms. Does not influence.
Interaction with other medicines:
Does not interact with hormones. Use in a complex with neuroleptics or weak barbiturates is possible.
