Early correct processing of accidental wounds, full treatment of various purulent diseases has great preventive value.
In prevention of postabortion sepsis the main role belongs to sanitary and educational work, an explanation of inadmissibility and extremely big danger of extra hospital abortions. A certain role in prevention of sepsis belongs also to timely sanitation of the centers of persistent infection in an organism (osteomyelitis, an adenoid disease, otitis, sinusitis, carious teeth, etc.).
