Cordiaminum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: Nikethamidum of 250 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

Analeptic. Stimulates TsNS, excites the respiratory and vasomotor centers (especially at the lowered tone of a vasomotor center). The direct promoting effect on heart and vasoconstrictive effect is not noted. In high (toxic) doses can cause clonic spasms.

Indications to use:

Disturbance of cordial activity, shock, asphyxia; poisoning with narcotic, somnolent drugs, analgetics.

Route of administration and doses:

Apply inside, п / to, in oil and in / century. The dose and frequency of introduction are established individually, depending on indications, age of the patient and the applied dosage form.

Side effects:

Perhaps: the concern, muscular twitchings beginning with circular muscles of a mouth, face reddening, an itch of integuments, vomiting, disturbances of a cordial rhythm.

Contraindications:

Predisposition to spasms.

Overdose:

At overdose of Nikethamidum spasms are possible.
