Lincomycin

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 720 mg of lincomycin (in the form of a hydrochloride), 1,08 g of the oxidized cellulose.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Medicine possesses the local antimicrobic action expressed haemo static and prolonged.

The antimicrobic effect is provided with inclusion in composition of medicine of an antibiotic of lincomycin and expressed concerning gram-positive microbes (stafilokokk, streptococci, pneumococci, a diphtheria stick), some anaerobe bacterias, including causative agents of gas gangrene and tetanus.

Medicine is active also concerning microorganisms, especially the stafilokokk steady against other antibiotics. Antimicrobic properties remain in anaerobic conditions.

Drug is effective at parenchymatous and capillary bleedings, bleedings from bones and muscles. Does not stop bleeding from large vessels.

Medicine has no the local irritating and cumulative effect and, being implanted into an organism, completely resolves within a month, strengthens regeneration processes in the place of use.

Indications to use:

Local prevention and treatment of the infected and hemorrhagic complications:

- at operative measures on bodies of gepatobiliarny system, a musculoskeletal system;

- at surgical treatment of pyoinflammatory pathology;

- at parodontita.

Route of administration and doses:

Locally. Depending on character of size of a wound surface medicine is applied in the form of napkins (in 1 - 2 layer) or the rules of an asepsis of tampons and turundas made of them with observance. Napkins impose on all area of the struck surface.

For prevention of repeated bleeding and pyoinflammatory processes the napkin can be left in a wound in a look one - or a two-layer strip. At the same time it is not recommended to fill densely wounds drug. At contact with blood the napkin gains dark-brown color. Proceeding from the size of a wound, the area and force of bleeding, danger of emergence of purulent complications use 1-5 napkins.

Features of use:

At extraction of a napkin from packaging it is necessary to observe precautionary measures for sterility preservation.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. It is contraindicated at pregnancy.

Use for children. It is contraindicated in the period of a neonatality.

Side effects:

At topical administration usually by-effects are not noted.

Contraindications:

— hypersensitivity;

— pregnancy (except for cases, when necessary according to "vital" indications);

— neonatality period.

With care: fungus diseases of skin.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature from 5 to 15 ºС. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to use medicine after the termination of a period of validity.
