Agraphia

Description:

Agraphia (from other - Greek ἀ-— a prefix with value of absence and  — I write) — loss of ability to write at safety of intelligence and without ataxia of upper extremities; arises at defeat of back departments of an upper frontal crinkle in the left hemisphere at right-handed persons.

Agraphia symptoms:

It is characterized by loss of ability to the letter at sufficient safety of intelligence — and the created writing skills. It can be shown in full loss of ability to the letter, in rough distortion of writing of words, admissions, inability to connect letters and syllables. Force and coordination of movements of a hand are kept normal.

Aphotic agraphia arises at aphasia when the left temporal bark is struck, and is caused by defects of phonemic hearing and slukhorechevy memory.

Apraktichesky agraphia arises at ideatorny aphasia, constructive — at constructive aphasia. Also true agraphia which is not connected with other syndromes and caused by defeat of back departments of the second frontal crinkle of a dominant hemisphere is distinguished.

Mirror dysgraphia — mirror writing of letters, mirror changes of an order of letters in the word or the directions of the letter are possible. The mirror letter is sometimes noted at lefthanders, mentally retarded children, and also at insufficiency of processes of mezhpolusharny interaction.

Symptoms of a dysgraphia are shown in the resistant repeating mistakes by the letter: distortion and replacement of letters, words, disturbance of unity of writing of separate words in the offer, agrammatisms.
