Application instruction:
Insti – the drug of a plant origin used for a symptomatic treatment of catarrhal diseases.
Form of release and structure
Insti is let out in the form of granules for preparation of solution for intake: brown color, with an insignificant smell of menthol, cardamom, an anise, coffee, a lemon or chocolate when grinding (in a sachet (a package from a three-layered foil) on 5,6 g, on 5 sachets in a cardboard pack).
Active agent is a part of 1 sachet: dense water extract – 0,4 g, prepared from the following plants:
- Willow white (bark) – 0,75 g;
- Violet odorous (leaves and flowers) – 0,1 g;
- Adkhatoda vascular (leaves) – 0,3 g;
- Tea Chinese (leaves) – 0,125 g;
- Licorice naked (roots and rhizomes) – 0,55 g;
- Eucalyptus spherical (leaves) – 0,035 g;
- Fennel ordinary (fruits) – 0,075 g;
- Valerian medicinal (rhizomes) – 0,1 g.
Auxiliary components: corn starch, menthol, sucrose.
In addition about Insti's list the excipients defining it enter began to smell: oil of fruits of cardamom, oil of seeds of an anise, coffee fragrance (D-0818 Coffee), lemon fragrance (Lemon Lyme S-8946) or chocolate fragrance (D-0970 Chocolate) and cocoa powder.
Indications to use
Insti is appointed for a symptomatic treatment of acute respiratory viral infections (at a congestion of a nose, a headache, fervescence to 38 °C, cough, morbidity when swallowing).
Contraindications
- Pregnancy and period of a lactation (breastfeeding);
- Age up to 18 years;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Drug should be used with care at heavy functional disturbances of kidneys, a liver, cardiovascular system, and also the patient with the increased coagulability of blood.
Route of administration and dosage
Insti is accepted inside, after meal. Before reception contents of 1 sachet should be dissolved in a glass of hot water. It is necessary to drink the received solution slowly.
Usually appoint 2-3 times a day 1 sachet. Duration of a therapeutic course – 7-8 days. According to the recommendation of the doctor increase in duration of reception of Insti is possible.
Side effects
At Insti's use development of allergic reactions is possible.
Special instructions
Sucrose is a part of drug (in a single dose – 5,13 g) that needs to be considered at Insti's appointment sick with a diabetes mellitus, and also at observance of a low-calorie diet.
During the strengthening of cough, emergence of a purulent phlegm, rattles in lungs, rhinorrheas with purulent separated, quinsies and fervescence above 38 °C it is necessary to cancel administration of drug and to see a doctor.
Medicinal interaction
Simultaneous use of Insti with antibechic drugs, and also with the medicines reducing formation of a phlegm is not recommended (because of possible difficulty of expectoration of the liquefied phlegm).
Terms and storage conditions
To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature up to 25 °C.
Period of validity – 3 years.
