Iruxolum – the combined drug which part the antibiotic levomycetinum and enzyme of a klostridilpentidaz is.

Presence of enzymes at drug allows to achieve quickly clarification from necrotic fabrics which are sated with microbes, at treatment of purulent wounds and trophic ulcers.

Active ingredients of Iruxolum possess antibacterial, antimicrobic, wound healing and ranoochishchayushchy action.

Prevents development of an infection, favors to epithelization, promotes clarification and granulation of wounds, and also accelerates regeneration.

Distinctive feature of Iruxolum from other antibacterial ointments consists in ability to clear wounds practically of any etiology, a possibility of removal of necrotic fabrics and small strup without mechanical intervention, and mitigation of the extensive sites of skin which underwent necrotic damages.

Release form

Iruxolum is released in the form of ointment. 1 g contains 10 mg of levomycetinum and 0,6 PIECES of a klostridilpeptidaza of A. V tubas on 30 g, in cardboard packaging.

Indications to use of Iruxolum

Contraindications

Iruxolum according to the instruction is contraindicated at:

  • Individual intolerance of chloramphenicol and other components of drug;
  • Some diseases of blood – hemolitic to jaundice, a panmyelopathia, including in the anamnesis;
  • Severe damages of kidneys and liver;
  • Psoriasis;
  • Fungus diseases of skin.

Ointment Iruxolum is not appointed at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation, and also to children up to 12 years because of insufficiency of the conducted researches.

Application instruction of Iruxolum

Ointment Iruxolum is applied locally once a day by about 2 mm thick. The wound surface needs to be humidified previously. After drug use the softened nekrotizirovanny fabrics need to be removed when changing a bandage.

Often, for an exception of a possibility of irritation, at the edges of a wound apply zinc oxide ointment.

Ointment Iruxolum is not recommended to be applied together with other drugs to topical administration, because of possible decrease in efficiency of Iruxolum.

Side effects

According to reviews Iruxolum can cause some allergic reactions in the form of skin rash and contact dermatitis, pain and burning in the place of application and irritation.

Iruxolum has no exact analogs. Quite often apply ointments on a hydrophilic basis – Levomekol, Levosin or Oflokain to acceleration of course of the first phase of a wound process, and also ointment Noruksol and Fermenkol. However these drugs have only similar chemical composition and therapeutic action, and analogs of Iruxolum are not.

Storage conditions
