Раствор для наружного применения 2% Регейн Regeyn – the drug for external use having a promoting effect on growth of hair at an androgenic alopecia.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form – solution for external use of 2% and 5%: transparent, light yellow or colourless (on 60 ml in bottles from polyethylene of high density, in a pack a cardboard 1 bottle and 3 nozzles: a spray, the extended raspylitelny nozzle and a nozzle for rubbing in).

Active agent: minoksidit, in 1 ml – 20 or 50 mg.

Auxiliary components: propylene glycol, ethanol, the water purified.

Indications to use

Regeyn – drug for treatment of an androgenic alopecia at men and women (recovers indumentum and stabilizes process of a hair loss).

Contraindications

Dermatosis of a pilar part of the head;
Disturbance of integrity of an integument of the head;
The age up to 18 years is also more senior than 65 years;
Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Route of administration and dosage

Regeyn is applied outwardly on skin only of a pilar part of the head (since the center of the struck zone).

It is necessary to put it 2 times a day on 1 ml regardless of the sizes of the processed site.

At first appoint 2% solution. In case of lack of satisfactory growth of hair, and also if necessary more rapid growth of hair 5% appoint solution.

At women Regeyn is most effective at a hair loss in the field of a median hair parting, at men – on the top.

Drug should be applied on dry skin. The method of use depends on the used applicator.

The spray is suitable for processing of big sites of a pilar part of the head. Rules of its use:

To remove a big outside cap and the internal screw-on cover from a bottle;
To establish a spray and to screw up densely;
To remove a transparent cap;
To send a head of a pulverize nozzle to the center of the struck area and to press the valve. Finger-tips to distribute drug on all site of baldness, slightly rubbing in skin, avoiding inhalation of an aerosol. For drawing a dose of equal 1 ml it is necessary to repeat this operation 6 times;
To put on a transparent and big outside cap a bottle;
To carefully wash up hands.

The extended raspylitelny nozzle is suitable for Regeyn's drawing on sites of baldness, small on the area, or for processing of skin under the remained hair. Rules of its use:

To establish a spray (as it is described above);
To remove from it a small raspylitelny head and to strengthen the extended nozzle on the spray plug;
To remove a small cap from the end of a nozzle;
To send a nozzle to the center of area of baldness and to press 1 time a spray. Finger-tips to distribute drug on all site of baldness, slightly rubbing in skin, avoiding inhalation of an aerosol. For drawing a dose of equal 1 ml it is necessary to repeat this operation 6 times;
To put on a cap;
To carefully wash up hands.

The nozzle for rubbing in is suitable for putting drug on small areas of baldness. Rules of its use:

To remove an outside big cap and the screw-on internal cover from a bottle;
To establish a nozzle on a bottle and to screw up densely;
Having taken a bottle vertically, to squeeze it so that to fill with solution the upper camera to black line – it will correspond to one dose (1 ml);
To turn a bottle and to mass a nozzle all area of baldness until solution from the camera is used;
To put on a big external cap a bottle.

Duration of treatment is defined by the doctor individually. According to clinical experience of use of Regeyn, the first signs of stimulation of growth of hair appear not earlier than in 4 months (when using drug 2 times a day). However the beginning of growth of hair, and also degree of its expressiveness and quality of hair at different people can fluctuate.

Side effects

Possible local reactions: dermatitis of a pilar part of the head; seldom – more expressed dermatitis cases (a peeling, an inflammation, reddening), a head skin itch, an alopecia, a folliculitis, allergic contact dermatitis, seborrhea, undesirable growth of hair.

Possible system side effects:

From cardiovascular system: cardiopalmus, fluctuations of arterial pressure, thorax pain, changes of a rhythm of cordial reductions, hypostases;
From respiratory system: allergic rhinitis, asthma;
From the central nervous system: вертиго, headache, neuritis;
Dermatological reactions: face edema, nonspecific allergic reactions (urticaria, skin rash).

Explicit relationship of cause and effect between Regeyn's use and emergence of the listed system side effects is established only concerning dermatological reactions.

Special instructions

Before Regeyn's appointment the patient has to undergo the general medical examination including collecting and studying of the anamnesis. Skin of a pilar part of the head has to be healthy.

According to single messages, within 3-4 months after the end of treatment recovery of initial outward of hair is possible.

Minoksidil in small amounts is soaked up through skin therefore there is a risk of development of serious system side effects, such as local and generalized hypostasis, a delay of salts and water, stenocardia, tachycardia, a pericardis, an exudate in the field of a pericardium, a pericardium tamponade, strengthening of the orthostatic hypotension caused by some anti-hypertensive drugs, for example, guanetidiny or its derivatives. Therefore the patients with arterial hypertension receiving гуанетидин or its derivatives during treatment by Regeyn have to be under constant medical observation. For the same reason during treatment it is necessary to conduct periodically examination of patients in time to reveal possible signs of system side effects. In case of their detection drug should be cancelled. At a delay of liquid and hypostases purpose of diuretics is possible, at stenocardia and tachycardia – beta adrenoblockers.

With care Regeyn patients should apply with cardiovascular diseases in the anamnesis as there is a probability of an exacerbation of a disease.

The alcohol which is a part of drug can cause irritation and an inflammation of eyes. In case of hit of solution in eyes, on mucous membranes or on their angry skin it is necessary to wash out at once plentifully cold water.

Accidental administration of drug inside can lead to serious effects, including cause a liquid delay in an organism, tachycardia and a lowering of arterial pressure.

Medicinal interaction

It is established that Regeyn can interact with some other medicines for external use therefore it is necessary to agree on possibility of their combined use with the doctor.

At simultaneous use of the outside cream containing 0,05% betamethasone system absorption of a minoksidil decreases; the cream containing 0,05% третиноин – absorption of a minoksidil increases.

At simultaneous use of a ditranol or tretinoin increase in absorption of a minoksidil as these means cause changes of protective functions of skin is possible.

There are no clinical confirmations, however it is considered that at patients who receive the accompanying treatment by peripheral vasodilating drugs strengthening of orthostatic hypotension is possible.

It is impossible to exclude slight increase of maintenance of a minoksidil in blood at patients with arterial hypertension which along with external use of Regeyn accept drugs of a minoksidil inside.
