Adenotsita

Adenotsita (adenocyti; Greek adenos, aden – iron + a gist. cytus – a cell) – the ferruterous cells located in a front share of a hypophysis.

Allocate:

  • Adenotsita acidophilic (adenocyti acidophili, definition in system of anatomic terms: LNH (Leningrad histologic nomenclature); synonym: adenotsita eosinophilic) – the adenotsita having the oval form. Cosecrete somatotropic and lactogenic hormones. Acid dyes painted in pink color;
  • Adenotsita B-basphilic (adenocyti B-basophili, definition in system of anatomic terms: LNH (Leningrad histologic nomenclature); synonym: beta basophiles, adenotsita basphilic, beta cells) – the adenotsita containing secretory granules in cytoplasm. Are painted by the main dyes and are intensively painted aldehyde by fuchsin. It is considered that V-basphilic adenotsita produce thyritropic hormone;
  • Adenotsita D-basphilic (adenocyti D-basophili, definition in system of anatomic terms: LNH (Leningrad histologic nomenclature); synonym: delta basophiles, gonadotropotsita, delta cells) – the adenotsita containing in cytoplasm secretory granules with a large number of glucoproteids. Are painted by the main dyes. Produce gonadotropic hormones;
  • Adenotsita chromophilic (adenocyti chromophili, definition in system of anatomic terms: LNH (Leningrad histologic nomenclature); synonym: cells chromophilic) – adenotsita which well perceive histologic dyes;
  • Adenotsita chromophobic (adenocyti chromophobi, definition in system of anatomic terms: LNH (Leningrad histologic nomenclature); synonym: cells chromophobic) – poorly painted adenotsita. Do not contain secretory granules.
