Ammoniogenesis

Ammoniogenesis (ammoniogenesis; ammonium + Greek genesis – origin, education) – the release in renal tubules of ions of ammonium (NH4+) happening at deamination of glutaminic acid to the subsequent formation of salts of ammonium and receipt them in definitivny (vesical) urine. The ammoniogenesis is one of mechanisms of renal regulation of acid-base equilibrium in an organism.
