Amos symptom

Amos a symptom (the American doctor N. of L. Amoss, 1886-1957) – inability of the patient to pass into a sitting position from a prone position without support with hands behind. Amos the symptom is observed at patients with a myopathy and poliomyelitis because of weakness of long muscles of a back.
