Arnold ganglion

Arnold ganglion (F. Arnold; ganglion):

  1. Ganglion warm-hearted average (ganglion cardiacum medium; synonym: Arnold a ganglion) – the sympathetic ganglion, changeably meets in the thickness of an average cardiac cervical nerve; gives fibers in cardiac plexuses;
  2. Otoganglion [ganglion oticum – PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya); synonym: Arnold a ganglion] – the parasympathetic ganglion lying from medial side of a mandibular nerve below an oval opening; gives fibers to a parotid sialaden; receives fibers from a small stony nerve;
  3. Ganglion splanchnic [ganglion splanchnicum – PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya); synonym: Arnold a ganglion] – the sympathetic ganglion lying on a big celiac nerve about its entrance to a diaphragm; gives fibers to a celiac texture.
