Balakhovsky method (S. D. Balakhovsky, 1896-1957, owls. biochemist):

  1. The way of determination of level of cholesterol in blood serum which is based on its etherification by digitonin with further implementation of staining reaction of Libermanna-Burkhardt;
  2. The method of definition of a blood sedimentation rate (ROE) which is carried out with use of the capillary which is in advance washed out 5% by oxalate solution.
