Ballensa symptom

Ballensa symptom (Ch. Ballance, 1856-1936, the English surgeon) – a dullness from two sides of an abdominal cavity; the stupid sound at the left which is not moving at a body postural change that testifies to the available clots in an abdominal cavity; the obtusion on the right which is displaced at the movement of a body confirms existence in an abdominal cavity of liquid blood; sign of a rupture of a spleen.
