Drum ring

Drum ring (anulus tympanicus – definition in system of anatomic terms: PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya)) – not closed ring from a bone tissue intended for an attachment of a tympanic membrane at the newborn; further from it a drum part of a temporal bone forms.
