Bassini herniotomy (E. Bassini, the ital. surgeon, 1844-1924) – the surgery at inguinal hernias which is characterized by strengthening of a back wall of the inguinal channel by means of a podshivaniye of borders a cross and internal braid of muscles of a stomach together with a cross fascia to an inguinal sheaf under a seed cord, from above whom edges of the cut aponeurosis of an outside oblique muscle sew.
