Basophile

Basophile (Greek basophilus; basis – the basis + philos – loving) – a type of the leukocytes which are characterized by presence at cytoplasm of the large granules changing the color on purple-black under action for cytoplasm of dye of Romanovsky. Basophiles have ability to absorb alien particles, and also include heparin and a histamine in the structure. Normal the maintenance of basophiles in 1 liter of blood makes 30-150х106.
