Bekhtereva disease

Bekhtereva disease (V. M. Bekhterev, Soviet psychoneurologist and physiologist, 1857-1927; synonyms: Bekhtereva-Shtryumpellya-Mari a disease, a spondylarthritis rhematoid – устар., Shtryumpellya-Bekhtereva-Mari a disease, a spondylarthritis ankylosing) – the disease entering into group of kollagenoz, differing in most cases in defeat of the joint and copular device of a backbone (it is frequent also extremities), and also extending to internals (kidneys, an aorta, heart); it is characterized by tendency to development of the chronic progressing current with emergence of ankiloz.
