Berkefelda the filter – (W. Berkefeld, is mute. manufacturer, 1836-1897; fr. filtre, from late Latin filtrum – felt; synonym: Berkefelda a candle) – the bacterial filter in the form of the thick-walled cylinder made from kieselguhr; now it is almost not used.
