Burnett syndrome

Burnett syndrome (S. N. of Burnett, American doctor, sort. in 1901; synonyms: a syndrome of a food hypercalcemia, a syndrome milk and alkaline) – the combination of block, general weakness, frequent vomiting, lack of appetite at disgust for milk food and symptoms of a renal failure caused by a hypercalcemia with adjournment of salts of calcium in fabrics and a metabolic alkalosis; it is noted in most cases at patients with a peptic ulcer at the use in high doses of alkaline mixes and a long milk diet.
