Beta radiation

Beta radiation (synonym: beta beams) – the radiation which is the flow of positrons or electrons (a beta of particles) which is let out by atomic kernels at radioactive transformations, and having the ionizing properties; it is applied in radiation therapy and radio isotope diagnosis.
