Bira anesthesia (A. K. of G. Bier, German surgeon, 1861-1949; Greek anaisthesia – nonsensitivity) – a way of local internal anesthesia at which, between previously imposed plaits limiting a surgery field two, enter solution of the anesthetizing substance into an extremity vein.
