Bisystole

Bisystole (bisystolia; lat. bis – two, twice, double + Greek systole – reduction, tightening; synonym: Obraztsova a bisystole) – doubling of the first tone on a top of heart and an apical beat, and also the bifurcation of pulse wave found at a palpation (a pulse dicrotism) on large arteries; it is noted at insufficiency of the aortal valve with the dilatation and the expressed hypertrophy of a left ventricle of heart causing two-staging, discretization of its systole.
