Bordetellas [(Bordetella, Ber – determinant of bacteria of Bergey's manual of determinative bacteriology] – the genus of bacteria including the gram-negative small motionless sticks growing on a casein and coal agar and on Borde-Zhangu's circle – biochemical low-active, not forming a dispute aerobes; are causative agents of whooping cough and pertussislike diseases at the person.
