Bowen disease (J. T. Bowen, American dermatologist, 1857-1941; synonyms: the dyskeratosis is lenticular diskoidny, Bowen a dyskeratosis) – the intra epidermal skin cancer which is a kind of a carcinoma having the appearance of accurately delimited plaque with the raised borders which is microscopically differing in an epidermis acanthosis with emergence mitotic of active atypical cells in a body of a rostkovy layer; it is often transformed to invasive cancer.
