Bronchorrhea

Bronchorrhea (broncho-(bronkho-); Greek bronchos – a windpipe; the prefix designating communication with bronchial tubes + Greek rhoia – a current, the expiration) – the plentiful formation of a mucous phlegm noted at cough; it is characteristic, for example, of chronic bronchitis with sharp hypersecretion of mucous glands of bronchial tubes.
