Geda-Shegrena law

Geda-Shegrena law (N. of Head, English neuropathologist, 1861-1940; J. Sherren, the English surgeon, 1872-1945) – the law according to which after section of a cutaneous nerve are recovered ability to distinguish high and low temperatures, painful sensitivity with a hyperpathia in the beginning is recovered later ability to distinguish close temperatures and tactile sensitivity, and also the hyperpathia disappears.
