Hemianopsia

Hemianopsia (hemianopsia; Greek hemi-– a floor - unilateral, half + Greek an-– otritsa. a prefix + opsis – sight; synonym: a gemianopiya) – a bilateral blindness in half of field of vision; the defect of a field of vision caused by defeat of visual touch system at the level of visual pathways, a hiazma of visual tracts or a visual cerebral cortex.
