Hemochromatosis (haemochromatosis; Greek haima – blood + chroma, chromatos – color, coloring, + Greek - Usis (словообраз. a suffix) – a disease; synonyms: the siderophilia, a haemo melanosis, cirrhosis pigmental, diabetes bronze, Truazye is ANO – Shoffara a syndrome) – the hereditary disease which is characterized by the disturbance of exchange of ferriferous pigments increased by absorption in intestines of iron and its accumulation in bodies and fabrics; it is expressed by signs of a diabetes mellitus, cirrhosis, a xanthopathy; shares on retsessivno and it is prepotent the inherited forms.
