Vasilkova-Gefter method

Vasilkova-Gefter method (Z. G. Vasilkova, Soviet helminthologist, 1900-1958; V. A. Gefter, the Soviet helminthologist, was born in 1911) – a way of a research of the soil on eggs of helminths, by means of viewing under a microscope of the superficial film arising when centrifuging mix of saturated solution of sodium nitrate with the deposit which appeared after centrifuging of 5% of solution of alkali about breakdown of the soil.
