Vasculitis

Vasculitis (vasculitis; lat. vasculum diminutive from vas – a vessel + lat. it (словообраз. a suffix) – inflammatory process; synonym: an angiitis) – the inflammation proceeding in walls of blood vessels.

Allocate a vasculitis:

  • Lupoid (luposa) – the vasculitis arising against the background of a system lupus erythematosus; it is characterized by the destruction of a vascular wall and pathological change of kernels in its cellular elements leading to release of nuclear material and formation of gematoksilinovy little bodies;
  • Giperergichesky (hyperergica) – an acute vasculitis, allergic character; it is characterized by domination of the alterativno-exudative changes proceeding with a fibrinoid necrosis of a vascular wall;
  • Infectious and allergic (infectiosa allergica) – the giperergichesky vasculitis appearing against the background of infectious diseases owing to the accompanying toksiko-allergic reactions;
  • Infectious (infectiosa) – the vasculitis forming at infectious defeats because of the damaging action on vascular walls of a contagium;
  • Infectious specific (infectiosa specifica) – a vasculitis infectious, preferential productive, forming against the background of a number of chronic infectious diseases at which granulomas, specific to this infection, are formed;
  • Productive (productiva) – the vasculitis differing in domination in outside and internal covers of a vessel of hyperplastic processes and sclerous changes of a vascular wall;
  • Rheumatic (rheumatica) – a vasculitis at rheumatism; it is characterized by exudative and proliferative or alterativno-exudative changes of a wall of small blood vessels, including capillaries;
  • Rhematoid (rheumatoidea) – the system vasculitis against the background of a pseudorheumatism caused by the influence of the deposited cell-bound immune complexes leading to damage of vessels;
  • System (systemica) – a vasculitis with defeat of vessels of many bodies or systems of bodies;
  • Toxicogenic (toxigena; the Greek toxikon – poisoning, from toxon – onions + Greek - genes – generated, caused) – the vasculitis which is formed owing to influence of some medicines and toxics because of their damaging action on fabric or toksiko-allergic reactions.
